Planet Faith is our Sunday morning children’s ministry. We offer exciting environments for children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Planet Faith Discovery (infants to 5 years) is a fun, safe environment designed specifically for preschoolers to discover the God who loves and made them. We are committed to helping parents build the foundation of their child’s faith by giving preschoolers a positive first impression of their Heavenly Father.

Our hope is that by the age of 5, every preschooler believes God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. For more details about what we teach, go to First Look, our preschool curriculum website.

Planet Faith, our K-5th grade environment, is designed for elementary age children to experience engaging large group worship and interactive Bible teaching. Kids are also provided a personal small group time with their peers and a trusted adult leader.

Our goal is to build faith and character in every child. Each Sunday, kids are challenged to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships! For more details about what we teach our K-5th graders, go to the 252 Basics curriculum website.

Our strategy for all of our children’s environments is to “teach with the end in mind” by being intentional about what we teach and how we teach it. More importantly, we acknowledge that parents are the greatest influence on a child’s life and we alone as a church cannot teach your children everything they need to discover about their faith. So it is our goal at DCC to partner with parents as we teach kids, together.

This strategy is best described as a color—orange. Orange represents the idea that two combined influences make a greater impact than two separated influences. When you combine red (the love of parents) and yellow (the light of Christ, the church), you end up with a more vibrant, powerful color – orange! For us, that means our parents and church will partner together to make a difference in the lives of the next generation, so that we can do more together than either of us can do alone.
