Family Ministry

As a parent you want to provide the best for your child. You want your child to know right from wrong, to be the best person he or she can be. But how do you that? How do you pray with your child? How do you encourage your child? How do you help your child grow closer to God?

As a church, it’s OUR job to help you do that. It’s our commitment to you. We currently have a few programs that help do exactly that.

1. “FX: Family Experience” Productions-FX is the perfect opportunity for parents and children to come TOGETHER to learn about God! It’s an every other month live production geared toward kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade that parents are a part of too. FX is SUPER high-energy, fun, and filled with excitement! It’s also a great catalyst for a “spiritual” conversation about the experience you’ve already shared as a family. And the best part is that each family will leave with resources for parents on how to continue further discussions at home. See the events calendar for an upcoming FX and details!

2. “For Heaven’s Sake”-This is a short production for children and their parents that presents the clear message of Jesus Christ simply and memorably. Our goal is to prepare parents to be able to talk to their children about how to have a relationship with God. Parents will leave feeling more equipped to lead their own children to faith, in their homes, at the appropriate time. See the events calendar for an upcoming production date and details!

3. Family Birthday Celebrations-This is a baptism service for kids! The whole event is one big celebration that includes a child’s family, small group leaders, and any other adult who has played a role in leading the child to his or her faith. 4. Baby Dedications-Twice a year we offer a Baby Dedication on Sunday mornings, giving parents an opportunity to declare in front of the church family the intent for their children to grow in a home where God is honored. See the events calendar for an upcoming dedication date and details!
